Jake Paul and Mike Tyson put on a spectacle last night, but the two boxers will have to wait before they can return to the ring as they’ve both received suspensions.
The combat sports stars battled it out in front of an enormous crowd at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, USA.
Jake Paul and Mike Tyson given boxing suspensions
On a night that, rightly or wrongly, will be remembered for a long time to come, Jake Paul defeated Mike Tyson by unanimous decision.
At the start of the fight, the boxing legend showed flashes of his brilliant best, utilizing his peek-a-boo style to bob and weave in front of ‘The Problem Child, landing an impressive jab and a powerful right hand.
However, as the third round commenced, it was evident Tyson had run out of gas, and thus, without the spring in his legs to propel into his power shots, was a sitting duck for Paul’s blows.
Ultimately, ‘Iron Mike’ survived to hear the final bell, with his significantly younger opponent receiving the nod from the judges.

Both men intend to continue their careers inside the squared circle, but for the time being, they’ll need to take some time off, with The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation stating that the pair must take a week to recover.
Their guidance insisted that the boxers should rest for three days per round fought, meaning that with the fight going the eight-round distance, they should spend 24 days away from competition.
The board of regulations said: “Medical disqualification of a contestant is for their own safety and may be made at the recommendation of the examining physician or TDLR.
“A contestant who disagrees with a medical disqualification, medical suspension, or rest period set at the discretion of a ringside physician or a disqualification or suspension set by the department may request a hearing to show proof of fitness.”
Mike Tyson opens up about what he was really doing while the commentators thought he was biting his mouthguard
Throughout the bout last night, those calling the action quickly noticed that the great boxer wasn’t the man he used to be, taking particular note of his legs.
They also picked up on what appeared to be Tyson constantly biting his mouthguard, as if he had trouble keeping it in.
However, it seems that wasn’t actually the case.
The legend has cleared everything up, explaining what he was really doing, and given a really bizarre reason behind it.
