FC Barcelona face Ernesto Valverde’s Athletic Club side in a little over an hour in La Liga at San Mames, aiming for an important victory.
With kick-off not far away, Barça manager Hansi Flick has announced the starting lineup that will step on the field in Bilbao, with changes being made to the side that faced Atletico Madrid in midweek.
Marc Casado gets the nod in midfield alongside Marc Bernal, with Pedri being rested. Marcus Rashford also starts for Barcelona, with Raphinha being given a breather by the manager.
Dani Olmo starts in the No. 10 position in place of Fermin Lopez, but Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres retain their places in the team. It means Robert Lewandowski, having received medical clearance, remains on the bench.
In defence, Eric Garcia starts after missing the cup tie in midweek due to suspension. He is expected to slot in alongside Pau Cubarsi at centre-back.
Meanwhile, Joao Cancelo and Gerard Martin line up as the two full-backs following the injuries to Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde. Joan Garcia continues to man the goal for Barcelona.
Youngsters Xavi Espart, Tommy Marques, and Alvaro Cortes are all on the bench.
