Henry Cejudo makes hilarious comment about a reunion with Dominick Cruz

On February 22, Henry Cejudo will return to action against Song Yadong in an eagerly-anticipated match-up at UFC Seattle.

The bout will give ‘Triple C’ a great opportunity to propel himself back into the title picture. And he isn’t the only former champion on the card keen to reclimb the mountain.

Dominick Cruz is also hoping to bounce back with a bang, when he goes toe-to-toe with Rob Font, in a collision bound to create fireworks.

With this in mind, it’s inevitable that Cejudo and ‘The Dominator’ will cross paths at some point during fight week.

Therefore, the Olympic gold medalist, who triumphed over Cruz in their fight, has been asked about a reunion with not just his old opponent, but also referee Keith Peterson, whom the loser of the contest heavily slated after he was stopped.

Referencing an iconic MMA photo during an interview with rushmma11, Cejudo said: “That would be fun. We just look at each other, you ever seen Joe Rogan, Belal Muhammad and Shavkat Rakhmonov all try to say ‘Hi’ to each other? Why not? I don’t give a f**k, I won.”

Henry Cejudo rips Song Yadong in four-word message in first remarks since UFC Seattle announcement

While Cejudo is laughing and joking about his reunion with Cruz, first and foremost, he’s concentrating on Song Yadong.

Throughout his career, the 37-year-old has built a reputation for his trash-talk, regularly beating his foes before the opening bell.

Therefore, it comes as no surprise that he’s ramping up the verbal warfare in the lead-up to his latest contest, tearing apart his rival with a brutal jibe.
