Jake Ellenberger went into the wrong house while trying to visit Mickey Rourke
Jake Ellenberger waltzed into what he thought was Mickey Rourke’s house without a care in the world.
However, it didn’t take the former UFC star long to realize he was in the wrong property.
When asked for his craziest story during an exclusive interview with Bloody Elbow, Ellenberger replied: “I do have a funny one.
“I was going to train with Mickey Rourke at his house. This was years ago.
“He was out back, just working out, training. He said, ‘Come in, I’m just out back’. So, I pulled up to his house. We were in Beverly Hills. It’s a very nice area.
“As I go in, I’m greeted by my six little dogs. I’m like, ‘I’m a stranger, I don’t know what’s going to happen here’, but they were cool.
“I go in through the door, sit on the couch, and I’m stretching out, trying to get warmed up. I’m sitting on the couch, I’ve got shoes and clothes I’m going to change into, and I’m rolling my back out a little bit.
“This girl comes down, stares, and she gives me a ‘hello”, but it’s a hello with a question mark.
“I go, ‘hey, is Mickey out back’? She was like, ‘What’? I go, ‘What? Mickey, is he out back’? She goes, ‘Who’?
“She goes, ‘He lives next door’. I go, ‘I’m so sorry’. I’d just walked into a total stranger’s house.
“Looking back, I could’ve been shot.
“These are not small houses; we were in the heart of Beverly Hills. I went into the wrong house, obviously, he was in the house next door, in the back.
“I told him the story and he’s laughing. Luckily, the dogs didn’t bite my leg off. But that was a funny one.”
