UFC superstar Conor McGregor’s ownership tenure at Bare Knuckle FC is off to a blistering start.
As fight fans continue to wait for Conor McGregor‘s potential return to the UFC Octagon, the former two-division champion’s biggest obsession is the continued growth of Bare Knuckle FC worldwide.
McGregor and his company, McGregor Sports and Entertainment, became part-owners of BKFC last April. He’s since appeared at multiple BKFC events and had a viral post-fight faceoff with the promotion’s biggest star, Mike Perry inside the ring.
McGregor continues to work his way back towards a potential UFC comeback in 2025, as UFC CEO Dana White recently updated. He’s hoping to return to the cage by the end of the year after withdrawing from his originally scheduled fight against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 due to injury.
In the meantime, the majority of McGregor’s social media posts are aimed at promoting BKFC’s events, fighters, and highlight reel finishes. According to BKFC’s Dave Feldman, McGregor’s impact on the company is profound, not even a year into his part-ownership.

In a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Feldman raved about McGregor’s impact on BKFC’s growth.
“It’s crazy because it’s really unbelievable what he’s doing,” Feldman said of McGregor. “I thought he was going to be into this…and he has a guideline of what he has to do, and he’s overdone it [by] 100 times. He really over-delivered, an unbelievable partner and guy for the brand.
“Hopefully one day he’ll take the gloves off! He’s passionate as hell and he’s dead right [about building stars]…a lot of people text me and say ‘Look what he said! Look what he said!’. And I calmed everything down, but this is great! He’s all over it, and how often do you get somebody that passionate about something?”
BKFC returns to action later this month with several marquee events, including KnuckleMania V on January 25th. The card features the returns of Eddie Alvarez, Jeremy Stephens, and former UFC heavyweight standout Ben Rothwell.

Conor McGregor might take off the gloves
McGregor hasn’t ruled out potentially appearing in the BKFC ring before retiring from fighting. He’s also in rumored negotiations to face Logan Paul in a boxing match later this year in India.
McGregor would likely get booked against another big name, potentially Perry, for his first appearance in the BKFC ring. He hasn’t competed in combat sports since a doctor’s stoppage loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.
As 2025 ramps up, McGregor will remain a key piece in BKFC’s stages. The marketing wizard continues to exceed expectations in his young BKFC ownership stint.
